Our Journey Started with a Simple Question

Back in 2019, Sarah Chen was sitting in her cramped Subang Jaya apartment, surrounded by financial planning books and spreadsheets. She'd just helped her third friend that month create a budget plan, and the same question kept nagging at her: why wasn't anyone teaching these essential skills in school?

That frustration sparked something bigger. Sarah realized that most Malaysians were navigating their financial lives without a compass — making decisions about EPF contributions, housing loans, and investments with limited knowledge. The banks offered products, but nobody was teaching the fundamentals of making smart financial choices.

We officially founded Zavithena in early 2020, right as the world was changing. While everyone was talking about digital transformation, we saw an opportunity to transform how Malaysians think about money. Our name comes from the idea of providing a clear reflection of your financial reality — no sugar-coating, no complicated jargon, just honest insights that help you make better decisions.

What started as weekend workshops in community centers has grown into Malaysia's most trusted platform for practical financial education. We've helped over 15,000 individuals take control of their financial futures, and we're just getting started.

Our Mission

We're here to democratize financial education in Malaysia. Every person deserves access to clear, practical financial guidance — regardless of their background or current income level.

We break down complex financial concepts into actionable steps. Whether you're a fresh graduate figuring out your first salary or a family planning for retirement, we provide the tools and knowledge you need to make confident financial decisions.

Our approach is different because we focus on Malaysian realities. We understand EPF rules, local banking systems, and the unique challenges of building wealth in our economic environment. This isn't generic advice — it's guidance tailored for your life here.

Our Vision & Values

We envision a Malaysia where financial literacy is as common as digital literacy. Where every individual has the confidence to plan their financial future and the skills to adapt when life throws curveballs.

Financial stress affects relationships, career choices, and life satisfaction. By equipping people with solid financial foundations, we're contributing to stronger families and communities across Malaysia.

  • Transparency in all financial guidance and recommendations
  • Practical education that applies to real Malaysian lifestyles
  • Accessibility — making financial knowledge available to everyone
  • Cultural sensitivity in understanding diverse financial priorities
  • Continuous learning and adaptation to changing economic conditions
